Electrostatic Separator Aluminum Plastic Separation Recycling Machine

Working principle of electrostatic separator:
TONTEN machinery electrostatic separator is also known as plastic electrostatic separator. The high-voltage static electricity generated by the high-voltage generator inside the electrostatic separator is discharged to the grounded rotating roller, and the materials to be sorted are evenly discharged onto the rotating roller through a special unloading device. After the conductor material is electrified, it discharges the electricity to the ground through the grounded rotating roller. Combined with the inertia of the rotating roller, the conductor material is thrown into the conductor receiving hopper. After the non-conductor material is electrified, due to its poor conductivity, it is adsorbed on the surface of the rotating roller. As the roller turns to the back, it is swept by the brush and falls into the non-conductor receiving hopper. Some of the conductor and non-conductor materials fall into the intermediate receiving hopper due to different reasons such as the roller speed, the distance of the equipment baffle adjustment, the size of the material particles and the amount of electricity received. They enter the feeder and then the unloading device for sorting. Opposite bound charges are generated near one end of the roller and are attracted by the roller, thereby realizing the separation of materials with different electrical properties.

Structural features:
The main components of the electrostatic separation equipment are negatively charged insulating roller and a group of positive electrodes close to the roller and the feeder. When the material approaches the surface of the roller, due to the induction of the high-voltage electric field, the surface of the conductor particles is polarized and positively charged, and is attracted by the aggregated electric field of the roller. After contact, due to the conduction effect, it is negatively charged again, and is repelled by the roller under the action of the Coulomb force, and falls off the roller. Since the insulator does not produce the above effect, it is quickly dropped by the roller, achieving the separation of the conductor and the insulator.
